DJ Simon S from Futuristica Music guides you through all things soulful in this new show on Samurai FM.
Simon S has been Djing for over 15 years and is renowned for his unique mixing skills fusing an individual blend of soulful beats. He holds down five residencies in London and plays all around Europe, visting Madrid, Lisbon, Munich, Berlin and Stockholm amongst others.
Simon has also played along side DJ’s Gilles Peterson, Jazzanova & Mad Mats (Raw Fusion) for Giant Step in NYC. He recently returned from his third tour of Japan playing at theTokyo Crossover Jazz Festival and at the infamous ‘Room’ with the Kyoto Jazz Massive and Patrick Forge.
His new label Futuristica Music will be releasing some great forward thinking soulful music in 2006 by new artists including Low Budget Soul, Stark,
Deborah Jordan, Robert Mitchell’s Panacea, The London Trio and more.
